[PART 4] LFW Gameplay Series: GEM — A Important In-game Currency

In our previous article, we have briefly introduced two types of currency that greatly affect your gameplay and experience in Legend of Fantasy War, GEM and Gold.
In this section, we give you a closer look at how these two elements will play their parts in the progression of your account, ranking as well as earning.
1. GEM
// What is GEM?
- GEM is a type of currency used in LFW.
- It can be obtained by:
- Exchanging LFW tokens on our website.
- Participating in in-game activities, such as: daily quests, storyline and side quests, mini games, etc.
// What is GEM used for?
Buying Energy: Allows you to bypass the waiting time and increases the number of battles you can enter.
Exchanging for Gold: All accounts can exchange GEM for Gold for free once per day, which costs 0 GEM and it will cost GEM for later exchanges.
Purchasing valuable items and acquiring special perks in the GEM market:
- Upgrade resources that are used to upgrade your Heroes, equipment, etc.
- Appearance Potion.
- Rising your VIP level with various significant advantages, up to VIP 17.
- Buying extra tickets for daily activities.
Other functions:
- Playing mini games in the main town which grant abundant rewards: lottery, card flipping, etc.
- Contribute and build your guild to compete with others in guild events.
- Acquiring costumes which alter heroes’ appearances and attributes.
Overall: GEM is unarguably the most powerful currency which offers tremendous benefits to the players by drastically accelerating their progression through various means.
2. GOLD
// What is gold?
- Gold is a type of currency used in LFW.
- Unlike GEM, the only way you can obtain Gold is through playing the game or exchanging with GEM for a limited number of times.
// What is Gold used for?
- Upgrading heroes’ level and skills which directly affects their power.
- Enhancing and enchanting equipment.
- Upgrading squad’s level, increasing the magnitudes of buffs provided to the heroes deployed.
- Drawing Hero Shards.
- Other functions.
Overall: Gold is sophisticatedly designed to bring a harmonious balance to the game and make the gameplay feel more rewarding and motivating, complementing the idea of play-to-earn.
3. CONCLUSION
Evidently, GEM is the most valuable resource of the game which brings you excellent advantages if it is used and allocated wisely. Although GEM cannot be exchanged for LFW Tokens, investing and spending GEM efficiently will definitely result in handsome profits for you in the long run.
On the other hand, Gold is usually underrated and neglected. However, in LFW, it is what brings a harmonious balance to the game and makes the gameplay feel more rewarding and motivating. Similar to GEM, Gold should be spent efficiently so that you can have the most out of it.
Gaming is all about fun and relaxation, but if you can wisely use in-game resources, it can pay back a lot.
